I have just ordered (last Tuesday) an MEI EO from the UK, it should be arriving this week so I can at least answer questions 1 and 2.

To order I sent an email and followed up with a phone call. I spoke and emailed with Salim, he was very helpful and asked all the questions that I needed. Being a small business this process is not as slick as Red Oxx for example, where phones are always manned etc. Make contact with Salim first and he will explain the order process to you.

I wanted a black bag which was held in stock so it was shipped the same day, custom modifications would take a little longer of course.

I was able to pay using credit card over the telephone or use PayPal, I opted for the latter. It is a direct shipment using USPS and supposed to take 6-10 days costing $55, I am expecting customs charges (if the parcel doesn't escape the officials!) to be of a similar value.
