And here is the description directly from the reservation confirmation:
"Marriott Rewards Member Exclusive Offer, includes breakfast, dinner, prepay in full, non-refundable if cancelled less than 1 day before arrival, 1000 Bonus Points per stay, see Rate Rules".
As any time when I book anything with added components, like bonus points, I have the confirmation in hand.
And yes, I am only concentrating on the dinner because I am plat. However, I will also expect that they credit the 1000 bonus points. This would be in addition to compensation for the dinner.
Try calling marriott customer service 800-535-4028. In the past they have been very helpful to me in sorting out these types of problems with properties.
