The allowance of one bag for the overhead, one bag for under the seat applies whether you're Club, Euro Traveller, Gold Cardholder, Sir Reginald Fortescue-Smythe or whoever.
It is currently being considered that any second bag without the yellow tag will be automatically tagged and placed in the hold by the gate staff so I suggest you get used to the idea of leaving them in situ.
The delays and lost slot times we are experiencing due to cabin baggage must be addressed and this tagging and enforcing of under seat stowage is very important to us.
I applaud any efforts to sort out the baggage kerfuffle that goes on, but I do mind being given a yellow tag for my only (small) bag. I've been told a couple of times that it must be tagged and go under my seat.
