There's an argument for saying this is the new 64A seat. It is very private, after the screens have gone up on both sides. So if it was an overnight service, with no supper, then it's a good place to be. Some crew may supply service from the sides rather than over the top of the adjoining seats.

787s are fine for space and the bins are a lot bigger than A320s. That seat actually makes it easier to find space, which is generally better on the starboard aisle, since there are 4 sets of lockers in easy reach rather than just 2. So I don't think you will have an issue there.

Also there is slightly more cubby room availability in the middle 787 seats, an additional drawer area. The downside is that some may find it claustophobic given all round sheltering in front, sides and rear of the seat.
