Both airlines are pretty good. But the MH routing is a massive 2000 miles longer than KE's, and most of this difference (that's equivalent to nearly five hours in the air) will need to tolerated in a narrow 737 with US-style domestic First Class seating. If all that is worth the $400 saving for you, then it's a tie, otherwise KE without question in my view.
