As we all know, united.com and the UA mobile app are the most advanced of their kind compared to all other airlines.
This advanced status comes at a price. Simple things like changing the app to display the 2016 card are hard, because every little change has to be regression tested with the other features.
I am beginning to appreciate the minimalist approach other airlines take.
