Not worth a complaint for wine spilled in the area. These things happen. Unless it was spilled on you and ruined your clothing, I wouldn't consider it sufficient to warrant a complaint.

I literally got sprayed by sparkling wine a few weeks ago when the cork popped out of a bottle and literally sprayed everyone in the vicinity. FA cleaned it up and apologized, and it wasn't red wine, so no harm done.

I'm surprised that the odour of wine nearby would be enough to warrant a doctor visit, but to each their own.
