After posting #526 above, I got lucky and the $20 statement credit for amazon purchases posted on 1/28.

Called to cancel today and got the same offer as everybody else -- downgrade to Arrival and 1,000 points after 1st purchase. Spent almost $50K on the Arrival+ in one year.
