POUG = Pro Active Online Upgrade.

BA will always/sometimes/occasionally/never (depending on who is responding) offer you a chance to upgrade your flight from economy to business etc for an additional payment. This is offered via manage my booking and the only way to find out it you have been given an offer is to log into your booking.

AUG = Airport Upgrade. Offer to upgrade for a set price at the airport.
