As Avios is the best scheme in the UK for earning on non flight spend, I will continue to collect and use them, however I may begin to look elsewhere for redemptions.

My regular AMEX 2-4-1 CW EDI - IAD has all of a sudden become unaffordable in terms of Avios for us, so I'll probably look to use them on an alternative route - US EDI - PHL or UA EDI - EWR, EDI - ORD.

In the longer term I may dump the BA AMEX too, just because the 2-4-1 voucher has lost a lot of value now.
