Really getting OT here but I'm having fun.
Believe it or not, I have seen inside that monkey park - on TV. Several years ago there was a Japanese TV renzoku dorama named "Hakoiri Musume" that was predominately set on and around Mt. Takao. It starred some big names including Iijima Naoko and was only notable, at least to me, for a VERY rare TV soap depiction of a romance between a Japanese woman and a westerner man. I found it on-line and managed to get through it even though it was never subtitled. Even after 7 or 8 years, I remember the scenes set on the cable tram up and down the mountain and inside the monkey park at which some of the characters worked. There was also a few scenes of hiking on Mt. Takao. Like I said, I guess I need to get up there once just to see it in real life.
