I can already imagine having to fight through making sure hotels are categorized as Hilton-branded in order to be sure you hit the $1000 minimum spend requirement. That is a constant battle on the reserve card to get the full 10 points/$ so I imagine it'll be no different here.

The answer to your question is 'yes.'
