OP back again. Thanks all for your comments. Yes, Canada is my friend with successfully joining BAEC but, I'd still prefer to be acknowledged as Australian. Maybe someone in BAEC management is still upset over The Ashes

And as for paying to join QF FF, this is commonly discussed on the QF FF Board - those in the know do not pay to join. But, as repeatedly told by some, the AA program is better value and offers more (usually).
