Aha. Thanks very much for the response. I had made the assumption I'd get the 016 tickets, but that's probably a risky assumption.

Additionally, United seems unable to book us into business on the FCO-FRA segment on the return but continued to charge the same fare. LH was able to do so. Makes sense to stick with them.
