You are missing a lot of information and that makes it very hard to give good advice and, as you see, you are not making progress:

1. Is all of this on one ticket? (Not one PNR or reservation, but ticket)
2. Call the ticketing carrier (or ticketing agency) and specify exactly what you need. It does not help to point to the fact that your onward flight departs before the original flight arrives. What exactly do you want?
2. Who made the change? Is it TAM arriving later or AA departing earlier?
3. If you cannot find any love with the ticketing carrier or agent, patch AA in so that an AA agent can verify that its flight leaves at 5:50 AM.

Bottom line, you will need to do the leg work here to figure out a routing which works and then ask for it.
