I'm on my 2nd card (family member's) and just received the permanent card, but haven't activated it yet. I initially loaded $500 on the temporary card and loaded a $300 more.

I read that I can load up to $1000 after the initial load on the temp card?

does the $500 (from the initial load) and the additional $1k load on the temp card count against the $5k limit?
