One thing I have noticed with the Silver bonus (currently 25%), is that the bonus is calculated on 100% of the avios.

E.g for the cheap economy fares from Madrid to Paris I get:
  • 531 avios for the ticket (80% of 664 miles Madrid-Paris)
  • 166 avios for the silver bonus (25 % of 664 miles Madrid-Paris)

When they slash the avios for a cheap economy to 25%, will bonus still be calculated on the distance, or the awarded avios? It doesn't make it clear what they base the 25% on. It could end up that gold or above get more bonus avios than they do for the actual ticket.
