Change of more of 2 hours in Departure, not affect arriving time. Can ask for refund?
Hello,
i received another flight change notification from Expedia, in a flight operated by BA.
Original Flight.
SNA-John Wayne 06:45
DFW-Dallas-Fort Worth Intl 11:55
DFW-Dallas-Fort Worth Intl 18:35
LHR-Heathrow 09:35 +1 día
LHR-Heathrow 11:25
ARN-Arlanda 14:55
Changed Flight.
SNA-John Wayne 09:15
DFW-Dallas-Fort Worth Intl 14:08
DFW-Dallas-Fort Worth Intl 18:00
LHR-Heathrow 09:15+1 día
LHR-Heathrow 11:25
ARN-Arlanda 14:55
As i said:
- It is a 2h and a half change of my original departure.
- It doesn't affect to my final arrive in ARN.
Due to a personal issue, my question is,
Could i ask a full refund of the ticket to BA because of the change of the initial reserve?
What does the law say in this situation?
Do i have any chance of getting the money?
Which should be my next step in case that Expedia/BA regrets my petition?
Does DOT or any aditional depart could cover my petition?
Thanks in advance for any advice you could give me.
Just another point to add.
The flight i booked was an error fare. The itinerary OSL - SFO & SNA -ARN.
The amount of the flight was 260 euros. 18 eur base fare and 242 taxes.
Would BA find it good for them me to cancel the ticket? If not, i will do my best to take the flight and not lose the money.
Is there any chance to contact directly to BA?
