As stated, YUL Int'l and Domestic gates are all in one corridor. They use a common security checkpoint.
Two (small) advantages, for some earlier Caribbean flights, the Int'l lounge is closed so one can use the Domestic. Also, a little more interesting, when I give lounge passes to friends leaving YUL of international flights, they can at least use the Domestic lounge. If not, chances are I wouldn't find that many candidates to give them.
