The agent in OGG was turning away folks who weren't eligible at that time.
On the Morning flight from SEA to DFW, they let first class board before everybody else and will turn people away that are 75K or Gold who try to board with first (which typically is not differentiated, so you always have a number of status people trying to board with first).
