Southwest Airlines is taking Las Vegas indie rock band Imagine Dragons to new heights.
The Dallas-based airline, the busiest commercial carrier at McCarran International Airport, will host a concert on a flight between Las Vegas and Atlanta as part of a promotion for the release of the band’s new album on Feb. 17.
In a partnership that was announced Monday, Southwest will fly the band to four cities that hold a special place in the band’s history, presenting concerts in Los Angeles on Feb. 20, Salt Lake City on Feb. 21, Las Vegas on Feb. 23 and Atlanta on Feb. 25. When the band flies from Las Vegas to Atlanta, it will perform a “Live at 35” concert at 35,000 feet in what is being called “Southwest’s Ultimate Destination Dragons Flight.”
