Sometimes the airline is legitimately wrong. Sometimes the passenger is making a mistake or pulling a DYKWIA. Always the media will blow it entirely out of proportion to draw in ratings and clicks.
Thank you for sharing that link gooselee. As a firefighter, paramedic and frequent flyer, I do not like to see people 'humiliated' and 'embarrassed' because of a medical issue such as when a flight attendant told the passenger mentioned in your article that "breast-pumping - however discretely done - was not allowed." Plese post your other links as it may help future flying mothers get correct information.
