Looking to take my wife and infant (under 2) to LA next year in Club World using Avios and 2 4 1 Voucher.

What is the best way to go about this. Looking to go March 2016 - is it simply a case of waiting till the schedule opens up March 2016, then just search for all of us at the same time or, as i have read, book my wife and i in first and then add the infant via service centre as per the below i read?

infant bookings have not always worked for me properly with British Airways American Express 2 for 1 vouchers. However you can just book the adults online and then add the infants later via the service centre.
The infant fare will be 10% of the adult fare or 10% of the Avios + 10% of the taxes and fuel surcharge. The taxes and other fees vary depending on the route.

Also what are the best seats for travelling with an infant in CW and whats are my chances of bagging one.

Also, i'm based in the North of England, is it better to start my journey from Manchester and connect in London or just train down to London and start journey there?

Sorry, this whole travelling with an infant is very very new to me.
