My wife bought a ticket in her home country from lufthansa.com The website specifically stated that she will be charged in local currency through a local agent.
I noticed that no basinet reservation was done automatically so I gave them a call, they made me pay for it in US dollars which is fine as I used my own credit card.
Now 1 week later this turned out to be false, she was charged in US dollars and she was also charged for seat reservation... Now we have to pay the conversion fees. Already wrote an e-mail to lufthansa waiting for a response. Anyone else had this problem?
