If booking venetian or palazzo thru IHG site at best available rate, (i) will it count as an IHG stay and (ii) will it be a IC stay as a brand?

Secondly, has anyone tried the "in suite breakfast rate"? Venetian for my dates in June is $199 plus taxes and resort fee. The in suite breakfast rate s $202.33 and says it includes breakfast. What kind of breakfast is this for $3.33 more?

EDIT TO ADD: I see the breakfast special now on venetians website. Classic American breakfast, eggs, hash browns, meat and toast for 2. Not a bad deal if you're staying there during the promo months...June to sept I think. 2 breakfasts each day for $3.33 more per night.
The restaurants at the Venetian are very good. I love everything about that place except the casino (great hotel; great restaurants).

The only problem with the free breakfast is that you may be depriving yourself of an opportunity to have brunch at Bouchon...
