If you go from 2-4-2 to 2-3-2 on a 747 lower deck you gain two inches: compare

A 3-4-3 economy cabin feels even more intimate on Scoot. Even very good FAs doesn't make up for crushed shoulders.

Fine we do the best we can but just because work doesn't allow it we can't imagine what are clearly J benefits in PE.

CX F is very good too, but we can't say CX has showers, walk-up bars or double bed to support our point of view.

The really objective advantages of PE (on a 77G/H) are 6 inches more pitch and one inch more width (total 38% more space), better headphones and amenity kit, bottled water, better first main course and bubbly for welcome drink.

Sadly that's it. CX is really so scared that PE will cannibalise J there's nothing more - it's Y+ not J-
