I couldn't resist to book two 25000 miles business class award tickets on Turkish Airlines to Tanzania back in May 2014. It used to be by far the best redemption rate EU-Africa. TK has significantly increased redemption rates as of June 1, 2014. I think this is going to be The Farewell trip to Zanzibar for my son (15 at the time of posting) and myself. I'll try to make a trip report.

This time I booked cheapest All Inclusive Garden View room for 230 USD / night for 1 adult and 1 child. It was less than 3000 points a night to upgrade to the 2nd best room type Ocean Front. Great value for points. I'll keep you posted.
