Seeing the fog from Burj Khalifa

Hi!

I’ll be in Dubai later this week. After missing the chance to go up the Burj Khalifa in 2010 (lifts were broken), I’d like a trip up this time. I’ve seen some amazing photos of fog covering the city, which I’d love to see, as well as either sunrise or sunset. I believe the fog is a fairly common occurrence on winter mornings (can anyone confirm?).

There are tickets for this Friday morning, with (seemingly) plenty of availability between 0530 and 0800. Sunrise is at 7am, so I was thinking of trying to get a 0630 ticket…can anyone advise if this is a good time to go up, or if I’m best waiting for an afternoon session.

Thanks!
