Usually only by a few hours, because of bad planning... So you basically find a spot on the sidewalk, and spend the day waiting for the Minstrels to show up. If you head up towards Buitengracht and Wale Street there are some bars (also on Loop Street), so you can have a drink and head out to look at the Minstrels when you see them coming by.
