And it can be quite good, if prepared right! The best I've been able to get is: a light Mexican lager*, tomato juice, a few generous squeezes of lime juice, salt, and a dash of cayenne pepper. My father (a longtime bad influence
) got me into Clamato originally, but now I prefer straight tomato juice.
* I use Tecate. Needless to say, Fat Tire would not be a good beer choice for this.
