Live and let live. If he's not being aggressive then no issue. Crew will refuse alcohol if they see reason to do so.

Agree with inference that it's too late to intervene when pax becomes aggressive, so it's a finely balanced one.

I personally am a big drinker but not on aircraft for all sorts of reasons - I may have a glass or two of champagne but that's it.
