I've been thinking about this...

Can you buy say YYZ - YVR in flex, and then have an ongoing destination to an intl' location in latitude? Then once you get to YVR, you cancel the ongoing international portion.

If you could do this, doesn't that make you eligible for concierge service for the domestic portion? (IIRC from Ben)* Otherwise, you could just pull a Penguin (except that you can't buy golf cart service)

*I'm 50/50 on this.
