My wife and I are planning our upcoming honeymoon to Italy this May and wanted to get your thoughts on our proposed itinerary. We really want to explore some, but have been told that we should try and spend a few days in each place since there is so much to see and do in Italy. The biggest variable that we have is visiting the winery at Castiglion del Bosco. If we did not do that, we would most likely spend an extra night in Rome and Florence.

We are arriving to arrive in Venice on Day 1 and then departing Rome on Day 10. Ideally, we would take a train from Venice to Florence and then rent a car to drive to the countryside and then onward to Rome.

Night 1, 2 - Aman Grand Canal Venice
Night 3, 4 - Four Seasons Florence
Night 5, 6 - Castiglion del Bosco
Night 7, 8, 9 - Hotel de Russie
