Well; I am not the OP, but I think there are 2 reasons for this:

- The Pax arrives at 00:10 LT in DXB from VCE; the next flight to BKK is EK 384 via HKG at 03:00 LT.

- There is an non-stop flight to BKK at 03:40, EK 376; but I believe this choice is more expensive than flying with EK 384.
