How do you force aircanada.com to book specific flights?

Hi everyone,

On an upcoming trip YQB-YUL-YVR, I would like to book a flight pair (i.e. YQB-YUL and YUL-YVR) other than what is offered by the website. Specifically, I would like an earlier YQB-YUL flight to minimize the risk of a lost connection. I cannot find my desired flight pair among the options offered.

Is there a way to do that on the website? Or do I have to talk to an agent and do it over the phone?

Also, do you know the maximum amount of time allowed for connections?

Thanks a lot for your help!
