It would be so nice if NS got its act together, and introduced frequent and properly high speed train/shuttle between Brussels and Amsterdam (with occasional stops in Breda), while retaining the slower IC Benelux option for those wishing to connect to the smaller intermediate stations or not needing the extra speed. Or better yet: yank the concession for use of the high speed line away from NS entirely, give it to someone who knows how to exploit high speed rail (the Germans or the French) and leave NS to compete on the smaller track. Introduce some real service on this rail corridor beyond the expensive Thalys.
