I think I'll just have to hold my nerve and wait for the June sale (I thought there may have been one in March a few years back but could be wrong). We also fly GLA or EDI/ORD in September, pretty much same dates each year and they are more or less the same price as when I booked in early 2014.

I've also found car hire costs (particularly in Florida) have gone crazy. We use USCarHire.com or CarHire3000, whoever is cheapest, and the best we could get for a full size for the 16 day trip we've just taken was almost £700.

I'm always twitchy about waiting to book as we like to fly out on December 27th so we don't "waste" any time at home after Christmas and hubby won't entertain more than one flight connection however I'll just have to take the gamble I guess.
