It is. The Fido rep could not understand why our cards could not go above $500 a day limit while the assets in the accounts were hundreds of thousands.
This is the drawback of Fido which does not own a bank. Our accounts are attached to ThreeThird that is one of the worse service bank I ever encounter. The ATM card's reps always are somewhat rude - they are not Fido employees although they answer with Fidelity's name because the telephone number you call indicating you are the Fido ATM card owner, not the regular ThreeThird bank card owner.
Schwab on the other hand has a $2K daily limit and they can raise it should you need more on a particular trip. As you know Schwab has its own bank. Their reps are all wonderfully helpful and courteous.
Personally I much prefer Schwab's card though we carry both.
