We had that rate in 2013, but I was only Gold that year so I cannot comment on getting an additional 15% (my guess is No...but you never know.)

The breakfast buffet is great, although not as large and varied as the Puerto Vallarta CasaMagna. And there were no issues at checkout, all discounts were correctly handled by the hotel.

FYI. We got upgraded from an ocean view room to an oceanfront room on the top floor. The view was spectacular!
