Hi Eric, welcome.
The idea behind a milage run is finding the cheapest way to get the most miles, or segments if that's what you're going for. In Thailand, apparently you can actually fly ten short flights a day for ten days for something under $1000 dollars, (depending on the class of fare you buy), and voila! 1K status.
The cheapest/shortest legs seem to be CNXCEI for around $9.00 us, and CNXHGN for @ $7.50. This is assuming you can get the M fare, available only in Thailand. If you have to pay J fare here and there the price jumps to I think $16-22 per segment. I won't be able to do all 10 days in one trip, but I think I can manage over 2 trips plus my domestic segments.
You up for it ?
