Remember that unless you're already GGL then 5000 TPs will bring you that as well, not to mention that once in you'd probably be able to stay in meeting the 3000 TP requirement per year if you continue flying as you did this year. For that and for CCR card I'd definitely go for it.

Edit: Nevermind about GGL, but I'd still do it for CCR card.
