I have been platinum since 2002 at least and was Royal Ambassador several times (earned and certificates)--now just Ambassador. Accrued the minimum points until 2013 at least before they changed the rules . . . Did meet the requirement on nights in other years when I would be a month or more in the same IC property. I still do put a fair amount of business through with multiple rooms when having meetings but didn't meet points or stay requirements for Plat since you don't get those multiple room points counting towards status. Will see how this year goes--maybe a downgrade is still in the cards.
