I've got an RFS reward booking coming up in ET. Realised I'd need two bags rather than 1 (a snowboard ). Extra bag would have cost be £80 r/t (no status) so I looked to change the flights to CE (for the 2 bag allowance) as this would work out cheaper inc. the change fee.

No availability on the outbound but the agent reminded me of something I'd read here before that only one leg had to be in CE for the baggage allowance for both outbound and inbound to be increased to 2 bags. So upgraded the inbound to CE and paid my extra 4500 Avios...

Problem is albeit confirmed its not been re-ticketed and it shows CE but still only 1 bag. When I called again they said there would be no issue it should ticket soon but I wanted something I could produce at checkin should the agent have an issue with my 2nd bag.

Can't find anything on ba.com - Does anybody have a link to a page on BA that would help?
