Yes. The Mets play the Washington Nationals that night, and they were quite a good team last year which got into the playoffs. So if they repeat form it should be an exciting, well-attended game. (Conversely, if both teams are way out of the running by the end of the season, the final games on the schedule can be less than electric.)
The Nationals should be very good this year, they have a strong rotation (very strong) and a good lineup. The Mets on the other hand would be out of it by the end of May. Still it's 162 games.
If the wife is up to it why don't you go to the Friday night and Sunday game. The Friday night will have a different atmosphere to the Sunday game. And Citi Field is a great stadium.
