Meaning when you come off the elevator you would only be able to go one direction as one wing would be closed off. The rooms are surely in need of the update, so good for them for making the investment.
Perhaps they are moving Elites and other VIP guests to the San Cristobal Tower to get them as far away from construction noise as possible in advance?
TravelinSperry- did you notice any renovations underway on Sheraton Building?
There are no renovations currently under way at the Sheraton as far as I can tell (i.e., nothing noticeable from the lobby or outside). If they are doing any work, it's solely in room or by floor from the inside.
