Letitride3c is spot on. Pick up your bags (luggage carts are free), and walk over to the domestic terminal.
The main variable is immigration inspection, but most of the time I'm done in under 15 minutes.
The other potential hangup is at customs, if they decide to "further inspect" your luggage and "penalize" you, giving you the option of paying the "fine" on the spot.
If all goes smoothly, 2.5 hours is doable. I personally like giving myself 3-3.5 hours just in case, and I'm not rushing in hot & humid weather.
