Airplane water is dirty. Airplane air is clean. The gross thing to worry about is not the cups.

This reminds me of all the fuss about toilet seats when essentially every other surface in a bathroom is dirtier.

Humans have really, really bad intuitions about what is dirty and what is clean in the modern first-world setting.
