Shouldn't be a problem per se. Remember to print out the I94 at some point and hand in to the Canadians or Mexicans when you leave the US. Hope that CBP enter the I94 details correctly at entry so that you can retrieve the record. IME they get around 1 in 25 I94 records wrong, and that requires a visit to a CBP office to correct before you can then print the record out.

It's an impressively silly system that almost completely fails to take account of reality and the needs of all parties involved.
