Its interesting that Amex Platinum is so much more laissez-faire about this with similar TOS but no difficulty with GC reimbursement. Since Chase aims this as a competitor I think they should relax the rules. I will fly enough to get early boarding on WN and upgrades on AA and perhaps GE for my children to spend the $300 so the cost to them will be the same.
