Then yes sausages are often really nice. I take them any day over anything the Gold lounge has ever offered.
Then there is crude and cooked ham, gurken, salami, cheeses, soups. If the SEN lounges were a starred restaurant, the Gold lounge'd be hospital food.
They are terribly crowded. Mornings are worse than evenings. Plus FRA is much worse than Changi making the lounges even more valuable.
At least it is recognisable as potato salad. Compare that to the uniform halal glob the Gold lounge offers.
If I want to eat bread, i do this in my hometown. From a proper bakery. Sorry, iam not a fan of do-it-yourself food in a lounge. And sausages swimming in warm water for hours are also not making my mouth watering.
The food in SEN lounges is chosen by LH for cost reasons, easy to prepare, easy to store, no planning to be done as you can keep most of the offerings for ever.
The positive thing in comparision to the Goldlounge is the Weissbier from the tap.
